Are EP holders allowed to take part-time classes without applying for a student's pass? Because I'm thinking of taking part-time mandarin lesson. I really need it at my workplace

Shold not be a problem for part time student or for private course centre.

Well he said he was already working? Therefore he must either be working on an LOC or PLOC. You can have more than one job under those conditions....
