There is a lot of courses available in various subjects at what level do you intend to study?

Beware of online courses some as you may realize are a 'ripp-off'.

You could try the Open University "OU" which is a UK based distance learning Univversity which I believe has a partnership in Singapore with SIM (Singapore Institution of Management)

In the meantime, pick up any journals or books that are IT related.

IT is a pretty vast field.... so you'll have plenty to read up on.

Take heed of so 'sschools' that offer such courses because some of them are riding the wave.

Good on ya mate for you seem to know what you want and I'm sure you'll be rewarded for your sacrfices.

Wysnaa, you amaze me - keep going.
The guys have given good advice. Also, if you have spare time and no cash just walk on over to Wheelock Place (opposite the Shaw centre and Orchard MRT) and go to Borders Bookshop. Sond as much time reading all the trade mags for free.

I do hope things work out for you.

If I may add..

since you're gonna be working and studying, there'll be days when you question yourself if it's worth it. Days when you feel like giving up...

well, don't.

Take break and do someting else. Go for a run, watch a movie or anything that can ease the tension. Don't give up mate....

unless it's a vice ( chocolates& icecreams not included, they're more of 'sin' )

You seem to have the determination, now all you need is the...

... perseverance.
