I know there are people like this in the world, but do they have to be on our board? I'd rather have the guest section back then the ravings of leenaaa, shazza and xiaobai_lsh. I know I should just ignore them, or better -- learn from them. But I'm flawed, I simply can't. Am I the only one?

Agree Mary. Have they nothing better to do? Can't we keep the subjects on the board, as we all have diffenent interests?

I guess you could also say the "SIA" flight Attendant threads are in the same catagory but I guess these kind of threads create a huge amount of hits which in turn generates income from advertising (don't quote me on that as not 100% sure)

Live and let live. Nobody is forcing us to look at that thread. Yeah, I know, it's an "Expats Forum" but they could be from Malaysia, Brunei, China or where ever.....

They really don't bother us here in the lower threads so why do we have to want to ban them from the "beauty" thread. They are not hurting anybody and at the end of the day, some of those idiots will actually go under the knife somewhere (who knows why

). I would rather see them suss out the better docs/clinics than just go up somewhere and get a botched job.

To me, beauty is in the eyes of the beholders and a decent rack would be better than double eyelids or a sharper nose anyday.

Now if we could send donno, may4, vodkashot, et al up there to find out where to get frontal lobotomies..........

Ok. ok, The jig is up. I was really only kidding. Just wanted to rattle things up since the Forum is a bit tired these days. I know we've had this discussion before. I'm not kidding that B,H & F scares me, but of course as SMS said: they do no real harm so they should stay. I have to agree.

Live and let live is alright, but that section (which is not just a reflection of Singapore but a worldwide phenomenon) is truly fantastic to me. What's particularly amazing is that these kids actually get their parent's consent to bring about cosmetic changes this early in life!

What's sad is that medical professionals choose this line of work when so many millions around the world are dying for want of medical care. This is how our world is, selfish in so many respects. And I am not above it either.

Look, we all have vanity inside us. We all do various things to look better: make-up, hair cuts, moisturizers, eating right, etc... I had surgery for the first time last year -- perfect procedure, quick recovery, best that could be expected. I can not imagine, in one million years, going through that -- on my face, no less -- strictly for cosmetic purposes alone.
