I think 80% i will be eliminated because of my voice!! The more matured lady interviewer doesnt seem to be pleased with my husky voice..... I mean who would hired a flight attendant that sounded so coarse like me, haha i think the passengers would be shock...
*sighz* :-|
Dun worry Anxious.. Let nature take its course.. U never know u might be 1 of the 15 they select rite?? Chin up!! :)
Yup ... Cheer up!
maybe u will get in / u can always try again the next time :) <-- i'm hypothesis this to my Brain too! >.<

Thanks gals.. I wish i could . But i was like rejected today by BMW... they actually wanted me to do their PR at this mega roadshow at tampines.. But they felt my voice was a little too coarse so they decided not, cus they called me and double comfirm if i was having a soar throat or if its just me... If big co. like BMW can be so particular abt voice, let alone JAL...

But anyway, wish you gals all the best!

Hi Lolitaa! I think i was in your grp! If im not wrong.. I was the first to self intro.. the "grad" u mean? haha.. ok..

Anyway, dun worry.. i think u stand a good chance really, esp when u mentioned u were supposed to fly for SQ if not for the qualifications problem.. i think the interviewers will take that into consideration, since they dun reli emphasis much on qualifications, and u passed thru all the rounds for SQ, u must have been really good!
Oh yah.. i din't mention.. ur sick voice made u sound reli sexy too! No problem on that!

Yes they did asked me a few questions but i think my answers were quite "funny" cuz the guy and the senior stewardess kept laughing in regards to whatever my replies were and I wonder why?
Hihi,

so you're the grad in black! haha. Don't you think the older lady on the right looked rather fierce and uninterested in me at all, she wasn't even paying attention when I spoke. That's so sad. I don't think they'll be impressed by my previous stuff, instead, they'll probably think why they should take in the "unwanted" from other airline. Hurhur..

I think you're fine, don't worry. I'll talk in a funny manner to if I were the one who have to start 1st. Just hope that they'll send us another invitation soon, I really hope that they're not hiring just 15. 15 is really pathetic.

Anyway people, I came to know from the lady who brought us into the interview room, that the 2nd interview will require us to read a passage. Sounds simple right? I thought so too, BUT don't be too happy, we have to read the passage which is in chinese!!! ARGH!!! That is so bad.

Well, from what i see, its not only u! the lady on the right was reli uninterested in everyone else, but i thought she did (finally) asked the tiger airway's gal about the bond thingy. That was the only time i heard her speak.. haha. Yeah.. she looked rather fierce, i thought so too. Probably her role is to be the "black face", like Simon in American Idol?

But I think u did a good job.. anxiety well-concealed!
Yap, lets just pray for a JAL letter in our mailbox this coming wednesday!

Ya, the only time she spoke was to question the tigerair crew. I think the ex emirates crew spoke well, and she spoke so gently just like how cabin crews talk. So sad. Btw, can you speak jap?

I'm so anxious, keep checking my mail.

I'm back. Was so sick even on the interview day(sun) itself.

I was early though, thanks to emiko's and sharkie's advice previously, i was half an hour early! :) I was last in the group too, the interview merely asked me 2 questions, the rest of the girls were asked so many questions, perhaps they were not really interested in me too. :(

My group was so competitive, 1 grad, 1 tigerair crew, 1 ex emirates crew, 1 currently working for japan company and studied in japan, and last but not least me who only have 3Os and ite cert. This is how pathetic it turned out to be. I was so sick I sounded as though I was consulting a doctor when I spoke. :(

Well, its over, just keeping my fingers crossed.
Sigh.. Me too.. I had flu and cough..

My group had a girl currently with SATS, 1 with tourism dip and lots of tourism experience, 1 silk air crew and 1 shop manager. I only gt dip and on gng deg with no tourism/flight/airport experience..

At least they asked u 2 questions.. No one asked me anything.. And it was only after the interview that i realized i only did the self intro but not the "Why JAL..." question..

I know how u feel.. *hugs*
Thanks, now i start to wonder if that happened to all the last applicant of the group. I really hope so.

may i ask why you told them your distant aunt is in jal?
i don't think it was good thing to tell them that.
Bcos I wrote in the form that I hv an aunt in SQ so I did thought of joining SIA. Then he asked me why did I want to join JAL instead so I told them that my distant aunt working for JAL always compliment abt JAL. Complimented that JAL always believe that customers comes first. Haha..
Come to think of it, my reply is a little out of pt :P

Anyone receive letter yet?

Oh I see. Thanks Sana. That is quite interesting, but I don't see the purpose to do that when they eventually let us in for the interview on a first come first serve basis.

So i guessed I deserved it for being there too early, end up with such a competitive group! *faints*
