During my interview there is a lady who know simple japansese and started her introduction with simple jap.
One of the interviewer actually ask if she can self intro in another version or something in japanese. I think maybe they just want to know how fluent you are in jap language.
Ic.. Thx Janz for sharing the info.. :)
Was tinking of doing my self intro with a little bit of Jap..

Thanks N good luck to you too..

sorry collen wasnt checking just now..

Well if u written in your application u know jap u are required to do a jap intro.
That means u do a eng and a jap. Just like emiko-san had said & wat Janz have written.

Well for mine today there is 3 person (management)+ a guy who have a laptop (maybe to assist the mangement in recording the results i tink).
i tink one of the management who is a lady is a japanese.

I can say that probably ALL of them understand japanese even the laptop guy knows abit though he did not speak that pro in jap on his hp...

Thanx! but i didnt tink i talked that fluently :(

pls, anyone knows if i'll get eliminated cos of that? i'll never forgive myself..
latecomers in a japanese company is never allowed.

in japan, if your job starts at am9, you do not reach the office at am9 on the dot. but you have to be at your desk doing your work already.

good luck/

They didn't really asked me lots of questions compared to the rest. Wondering why though...perhaps they ain't that interesting in me

The worst thing that happen to me was i was so nervous my voice actually sounded so coarse and the lady interviewer ask me if i was having a soar throat... second qns was y i didnt make use of my degree. and thats it.... *Sighx*

They will probably mind a LOT. I just got into a lot of trouble for being 5 mins late for work. And I wasn't even really late, just not at the right part of the office at the time I was supposed to be there... they are THAt strict.

woh lots of replies today ...
Guess everyone is praying hard!
i guess they will sent out the letter by tue so it will reach on wed..

haiz.. they nv ask me question too...
One gal who currently unemployed, she was asked y she was not working now... she cant really giv a gd answer .. the interviewer guy doesnt sound happy ...

There was another a gal in my grp she was the last, her eng was gd, they asked her if she can do a jap intro (guess she wrote in application she took basic jap before).
She only toked Hajimemashite ! Watachi wa __ Desu. Dozo Yoroshiku i think ... thats all.
I guess she will pass since her eng is most fluent in my grp .....
