Have been to a couple of performances recently & have been very impressed.
There is even a Makan Sutra hawker centre set up outside the Esplanade, although it is on the pricey side. And I did discover that you can get on the roof between the spikey balls, would be a great place to have a party.
What I was suprised by was the securitry checks going in to the performances, just like getting on a plane - bag searches & metal detectors. Is the esplanade a terrorist target?
Better to be safe than sorry I suppose
