Good News & Bad News

Post by Mary Hatch Bailey » Tue, 14 Mar 2006 9:43 am

The Good news is that it really isn't 'The Cliten'. It's actually the 'Cliften.' Through an unfortunate graphic treatment, the 'f' is a different font, size and color, an obviously fades at a much different rate than the other letters. Thus becoming virtually invisible. Drat.

The bad news? It's not the 'Cliten'.

So MHB is no longer a potential lesbo. :P
It's not getting any smarter out there. You have to come to terms with stupidity, and make it work for you.

Thanks GC. Just read the original thread, and laughed and laughed. It can't be serious, surely. It was too much to hope for that you'd get a condo you'd be have to mumble the name of....

Taxi Driver....Where to lah?

Person....The Cli..cough cough

Taxi Driver....Eh?

Person....The cough..cough..ton..

Taxi Driver....Cannot understand, where to?

Person....Oh sod it, I'll walk, ok?

It's a sad day for Singapore... losing its Cliten... a sad day indeed. I was picturing it could be a national icon, something to rival the Merlion as the symbol of Singapore. It could have been the turning point of change in a prudish over censored little nation. First the Sexpo then... The Cliten... it may never have ended. :( But alas it's over before it even had a chance to begin.
