Duchess Crest, very bad experience :(

Beware if you are offered an apartment from Duchess Crest!!!

Our apartment is having a severe mould problem, but landlord doesn't want to do any corrective actions neither to let us move out without outstanding penalties. In addition our air-conditioning has been leaking about one year basically every single week. Maintenance of air-conditioning belongs to landlord based on our lease contract. We feel that we need soon an extra room for air-conditioning guys, so often they are visiting us. Today was found out they have proposed to change two aircon units already several months ago as they cannot be repaired, but landlord has not taken any actions to repair it, instead silicon and aircon tape has been consumed at least same what one aircon unit would cost. In addition story is always totally opposite when it is coming from landlord than what has been told by aircon guys when they are interviewed while repairing, In Money We Trust here in Spore.

Finally there was offered a "relieve" for us, if we can find somebody to rent our apartment instead of us, we could then move out + we should pay commission about new rental. Top of the story is that when we asked our agent, how we are supposed to get anybody to move in here and answer was that by lying...

Sad to say but we have lost totally our trust to Singapore...

KypsaAsukas,

Sounds more like you have landlord problems, not Duchess Crest problems. Like throwing out the baby with the bath water.

Eric: keep it up, sarcasm suits you.
