Very nice way of putting it.

Hey eric...
Really what is your problem, personally i enjoy going to new places, it lets me enjoys what sigapore has to offer. I am glad DP comes up with new places each week. Whether he pays or not isnt your problem, if you want to bitxh like a woman, why dont you simple go to your little corner and stay there? In all honestly if you are happy going to the same watering hole all the time and not be adventurous then that is your choice. Everyone is invited to come to these gatherings but you dont have to if you think it is too pricey.
If you are looking at dollars and cents just watch how much you drink. Do you really have to drink that much to have fun?
Maybe a little net etiquette and tack is required.

The venue seemed a popular choice with most people, but I couldn't understand why ever the planners there could imagine one toilet each for men and women could ever be enough. Come on guys do the maths - all those drinks going into that number of people has to go somewhere, and one toilet just isn't enough! When the sign indicated more washrooms were available on the ground floor I was tempted to take them literally and shoot directly from the balcony \:D/

Another question I have about Singapore bars in general (and not just Loof Bar) is why when you order your drinks the barman doesn't deal with the money himself. Usually this is passed to one other person at one till who seems to take an age keying in the order manually for yours and many other people's orders, and eventually returning to you in a wallet as if you are really likely to feel inspired to leave thema tip after all the waiting. WTF? Do they think people will get bored or even forget after 10 minutes wait and not wait for their 5 dollars change or whatever? For such an otherwise advanced country, this is one area where Singapore sucks!

Ok, well feel better now that's off my chest! How could you tell I have jet-lag :P

Oh, and by the way, I still think the skyline would look so much better with the Suntec City Lights on. I wish I knew how much it cost, I'd even feel inclined to pay the electric bill myself if it's such a big deal!

And go on then Sapphire, tell me how sad I am again :P

:-({|= :-({|=

There's a time for love and a time for living. You take a chance and face the wind.
An open road and a road that's hidden a brand new life around the bend.

There were times when I lost a dream or two.
Found the trail, and at the end was you.

There's a path you take and a path not taken the choice is up to you my friend.
Nights are long but you might awaken
To a brand new life, brand new life, brand new life around the bend.

Wild Rover, completely agree with you. Remember, I was whining about the change. Also, while waiting for the change one denies other people from buying drinks 'cause one crowds the bar. A real pain in the butt!
Other than that, I quite liked the Loof Bar. Oh and yeah the restrooms, haha, whole different story in terms of smart planning.
Did I offer my condolences to you on the missing Suntec Lights? So saaaaaad lah.

Freeme, next time you use that phrase about bitching like a woman, I'll give you a good dose of it.

MHB, he is actually one of the nicest guys I've met here. And sometimes posts stuff to provoke, just like Eric.
