Hot stuff Plavt!

Ship Shape, I think all 3 categories (Chinese, Malays & Indians) covered the Singaporean women.

First date: You get to kiss her goodnight.
Second date: You get to grope all over and make out.
Third date: You get to have sex in the missionary position. Then you promise to marry her but will probab ly abandon the idea.
I'm confused, are Americans known for being boring in bed? Who is the commitment-phobe here? The guy or the girl?
Please don't take this the wrong way. Without going into too much personal details let me say this. I do not have that much experience with American men as I am not a loose woman / girl. I believe  my hubby does monitor my posts on this forum periodically, so I have to add this disclaimer to maintain marital bliss.

Not just from me but I have heard of other women's remark that American men are goal-oriented and use the cut-to-the-chase approach. See, America is very much a diy (do-it-yourself) culture. Apart from the 9-5 job, many men spend their weekends on house improvement projects. In our case it is babysitting, so mommy gets to spend some fun (if you know what I mean  )time away from the kids. So given such a hectic schedule, it is to the men's advantage to adopt this approach. It is done out of necessity and efficiency. It is this kind of laser-sharp focus and effeciency that makes Corporate America so successful around the world :D .

And may I add, in my short years of marriage to an American man, I have learnt so much. More than all the years put together while in SG.

But, he is right - in my pre-marital years I spent one week a month in Japan for about 8 years - - - some are quite shy about their sexuality (especially with a geijin), but on the whoe they are quite the fun partner.

Having said that, there is a prudish influence and even outdoor onsen (with clothes mandatory) are not unisex anymore)

Reminds me of 'Pierre, the French Fighter Pilot' joke, going down in flames . . . .
Vaucluse, I like your hair in the avatar, I really do. And may I add, you will be quite in demand if you decide to make a memory trip down to Japan. Kidding of course as I know your wife's expecting :) .With all the korean soap operas gaining popularity there, some (not all) Japanese women have acquired quite an appetite for Korean men. They feel that the Korean men are more sensitive beings since they are more willing to express their emotions. Oh well, at least they do when in the korean soaps.

Korean men sensitive? I would suggest that Koreans are more backward than any other Asians in terms of having a grip on modern thinking - especially in terms of the male-female issue.

Aside from that they have great hairdressers.

(Hmm, I dated an Indian many moons ago for a while - never met her parents. Probably helped that she was an SQ flightie)

Except for the American woman (even thinking of that makes me feel so uncomfortable, sorry La Reinne, nothing personal), I could share a few thoughts on all this from experience....

But.... better not, I'd be hanged for it I am afraid....

There's quite a difference between Singapore Indians and Indian Indians. A lot more orthodox here. Back home things have changed quite a bit.

Eric, I wasn't aware you had dated an Indian girl. And Vaucluse too! :o These girls must have lost their mind. :P

Last time I read the 'Lonely Planet' guide this statement is only too true. Holding hands with a Korean female in public a definite no-no.
(Had a Korean girlfriend myself).

A little amendment here. Attitudes do vary from family to family and most of my Singaporean Indian friends are broad minded and pretty progressive in their thinking.
