Hi,
We are looking for a 2+1 room apartment at Amaryllis Ville. Would love to get some feedback on how is the condo, the facilities and the quality of life. What kind of expat mix? Are there more singles there or families? Also, what are the rentals for a 2+1 layout?
Thanks
MM

AMARYLLIS VILLE
2 nearby MRT stations ( Newton and Novena ) which is about
10 mins from the condo.
Great shopping malls located at Novena.
You got the Newton Hawker Centre which is about 10 mins walk
away.
1 Hospital located at Novena.
2 playschools just outside the condo.
Feel lazy to walk, well there is a bus stop just outside.
A water catchment with a driving of 15 to 20 min away.

Amaryllis Ville feedback
I live in Amaryllis Ville and I enjoy living there. The expat mix is Scandinavian, Japanese and the English speaking countries (not in any particular order). There are generally more families than singles that I have noticed.
I live at 22 and on the side not facing Newton Road which is sunnier. I find the apartments facing the pool and Newton Road tend to be darker.
There are two pools and generally quiet. I've never not been able to get a lounger and I can always book a tennis court and use the gym.
There's a bus stop outside that takes you to anywhere you like (including the MRT if you don't want to walk 7 minutes to Newton MRT). There are two Cold Storages around the corner, about 5 and 10 minutes away respectively, at United Square and Novena Square. Taxi drivers always know Newton Road as well so that's an added bonus.
I know that a 3-bed condo on the 8th floor goes for $3500 whereas a 1-bed on the 17th floor goes for the same price - I guess negotiation is the order of the day.
