Dear Friends,
I am in a confusing situation..
Currently hold EP, category S. My project is going to be finished by end March.
A lot of friends suggested to apply for another job.
The Question: Do i need to go back to my home country after my employer cancelled my EP, or is it possible to stay back awhile in the meantime waiting for any interview appointments?
Anybody been in this shoes? Appreciate much 4 your insights, story n experiences.

Hi tetris, its good to search for a job when you know that your contract might not be extended. It too depends upon on what profession are you in and what are your basic qualification's. But always worth giv'n an try
An on the EP, the new policy allows you to transfer from one employer to another that may not create an scenario for you to exit from singapore.
cheers

It depends sometimes, an entry visa is required to enter JB and to return back into singapore. As the employment pass gets cancelled, the malaysian visa might also get cancelled.
But only applies if the person requires an visa else its a default choice to extend the stay in singapore.
