UWC OFS TTS SAS????

Post by singaporebound » Wed, 01 Mar 2006 2:23 pm

Feedback needed on the following schools. Will be in Singapore long term. Grade 5 and Grade 1. Looking for good environment - positive experience - good education. Have been to all four and like all four. A very good problem to have. I now need input from people who live in Singapore.

I went to UWC, thought it was an excellent school that had a well rounded education.

Hey what happened to my post? Ah, no worries. All I said was: SAS. OFS is a great school too, but SAS is better for facilities I think. I have a total of 30 years experience sending my kids there (if you added all their years up back-to-back, not concurrently). Sure there have been some bumps, but mostly the experience has been stellar.

What brochures don't tell you: SAS is the single largest ticket buyer at SISTIC (our local ticket outlet) of any organization in Singapore, we also have the largest collection of art on the walls of campus than any other institution worldwide.

A few weeks ago an astronaut visited and spoke to kids at various grade levels and after school as well. I ran into a firend who said: how many places can you sit down with an astronaut (an alumni, by the way), have him answer all your questions then stop by the world's best zoo and still be home in time for dinner? I think that sums it up pretty well. PM me if you need specific information.
