Having lived in the Parksuite and Treetops, I prefer the latter. It's tucked in a corner ,nice scenery,I had a very nice time there . Parksuite is kinda small, space wise and feels a little too 'cramped' for me. Though locationwise, Parksuite is pretty much in the heart of Orchard, but living there made me feel almost..'robotic' and 'mechanical'.

It will take a little stroll down the road if you're staying at the Treetops to get to the cafes and whotelse. They do have shuttle services from the residence to the heart of town but for me, the stroll is a perfect before and after meal 'activity'.

As for the Parksuite, your stroll would actually be a sort of 'one step'. You're practically just one step away from the cafes and whotelse.

Haven't stayed at the Somerset Grand so I can't comment on that.

I have a lot of friends who stayed at Parksuites and did not like it very much (bad service, too small) but couldn't object to the location which is stellar.

Our family is too big for Orchard Parksuites anyway, so we stayed at Treetops on this move in to Singapore. It was OK but: they could never get our broadband right, forgot to tell us we had 2 free laundry tokens a day as part of our stay until we checked out and our apartment always smelled like someone else's fried fish. Always.

If you're single I might try Orchard Parksuites, especially if you don't have a car (the traffic around Ngee An City is always atrocious). They are ripping up the road in front of Treetops, its a mess over there. Like Tiki I've never stayed at Somerset. Good Luck.

Treetops is good. It is a short walk to OT. And a short walk home *wink wink*

I stayed in a large 2 bedroom treetops apartment for 6 months, it was great. No problems with the broadband connection either, and the rooms are very well soundproofed.

The staff leave you alone there, the cleaners are friendly, and they were nice enough not to tell my girlfriend off for bringing some durian fruit into the apartment (despite the aircleaner that they put outside our front door for a week!).

Haven't stayed at the others though, so can't give a good comparison.
