Seems like they only pick 2 girls out of 10 on the 1-1 interview ( i'm coming at 24th, btw ) There was a girl whom I thought 100% sure can go in but she didn't manage to pass the first round. She was previously working at Silk Air, Emirates, and JetStar. There were a lot of very pretty girls who went in and didn't get through. During my batch, there were few girls from China ( very chio! ) who even have diploma in Aviation Service. Indeed it's pretty though.

so that means, for those who r not chosen to go for 2nd round. they are to notify them straight after the 1-1 interview isit? whereas my case, they nvr either inform me whether im in to 2nd round or not. they only said that they will giv me a call/email whether im in or not. sigh.

I'm not too sure also. What I know is some girls get the letter straight away to go for the third round ( uniform fitting )

Any pointers for the uniform round?
Like where to put your arms when you are walking?

If only you are vigiliant enough to read and understand other threads. You might find your answer. Don't expect to be fed all the time, cause that's not going to happen in Silkair. - Take my advice.

Thank you for providing the link.
I've re-read it once again ( I read it before... around last week or so ) just in case I missed out anything but I didn't find any pointers regarding where to put the arms. I hope I don't missed out anything. If that's the case, I apologize for not reading up properly the advices you have compiled to help the forumers here.

I'm sorry if I didn't phrase my question properly. I should have been more spesific. It seems like I've created another "wannabes here, please spoon-fed me" atsmosphere which happens quite commonly here. In whichever the case, I apologize for causing another bad rhymes to the senior forumers here.

Hey, I've heard that the last SQ interview was totally done on 24th itself. And selection was on the spot. Does anybody knows if Silkair's will also do the same? Say everything done up on the 2nd interview itself? Coz SQ do away with Water Confident and oso WTC. How lucky!

I didn't find any pointers regarding where to put the arms. - you walk with your arms cross? Is that normal walking to you? Or did you walk with your arms swing openly side to side? Is that the way you normally walk? - ASK YOURSELF, BABE! Ask yourself on where to put your arms. By your side, DUH....
I apologize for causing another bad rhymes to the senior forumers here. - No worries babe, but you might want to rethink about asking questions. Cause most of it are like logic.

To add to this, the question seem to be a stupid one. I'm sorry to be harsh but it's the truth. A lot of us have given some tips and some of which includes "just be yourself". So what does be yourself mean? Does it mean having your arms locked while you're walking? Of course not! So think, how do you walk? Remember, this is a professional cabin crew interview and not a modelling agency. They don't expect you to do a perfect catwalk. They are merely looking at how confident your walk looks.

Thanks for answering, Queenie. I guess I read too much from this and that forum until become even more confused :???:
PS. The reason why i'm asking is because another girl ( at SQ topic ) pointed out that the girls who walk with the arms on their tummy got in the uniform round and I was wondering whether that will actually helps or not. I guess im too nervous. :? Honestly I cant really think properly this few days.

singaporegrrrl > I do agree on the portion of "just be yourself" but in another hand I also believe on the importance of "be the girl MI want to hire" :P I apologize for adding you at MSN a few days ago without asking for permission first. I thank you for the time you have spared to answer a few of my previous questions.

Conclusion is, I got the hint and I'll resume my position as pasive forumers. I dont wish to cause so much negative air here seriously :( It's never been my intention.

Not all the time but try to have an idea od where they fly to, what color their uniforms are and what aircrafts they operate. To research about a company you're interviewing for is what prospective candidates should do. Try not go to any interviews (this applies to any company) not knowing what you're putting yourself into.
