Dude, I kept thinking and worrying.
Those who are selected will be informed within a week.

Yup, we are all in the room so we can hear all conversation.
In my opinion, most of the girls did well.
And I only see 26 girls, what about the 2nd batch of girls?
And only 20 will be selected in total.

ruzty, nice meeting you too!
I think most people have that feeling.
I can say it will be headache for the management, it's gonna be difficult to select only 20 girls.
Depends on their priority, what's the most important qualities they looking for.
Haha.. I know my age and status not going to be an advantage...

sassy girl, thank you. Very flattering to receive your compliment.
You must go and pursue your dreams. Don't give up ya!

Intrinsic Dreamer, yo gal, not an issue ya.. Silkair and SIA in same family..
All the best on monday dear, good luck!

They will recruit in every 2-3 months.
Keep a lookout in the newspaper and Silkair website!

Was wondering if like 3months later silkair recruit again, those girls who went for the recent interview able too try again or have to wait like 6mth or something? As i know for EK interview, we'll need to wait for 6 mths...

happyfeet,

tt time i went for silkair's interview, there were other girls in my round of interview who told me its advisable to try again only after 6 months. i don't know the rationale behind it, but that's what they advised as they've tried at least twice. i guess it's also better because they did state in their website and in the papers during the recruitment that previous applicants need not apply again, and they might not recognise u after 6 months so its safer to go?

haha, not sure though. just sharing. hope it helps. ur not intending to try Qatar and Emirates?

Hi all, just came back from flight with Silkair and will like to share my observations about the crew.

ok only one stewardess caught my eyes... she is in the orange uniform so should be the lead... she is flawless, gorgeous and simply a HOT! Although she should be in her thirties, she really maintained her appearance very well. I was observing the way she carry out her duties... very swift and professional, amiable indeed.

As for the rest of the crew, they were honestly very very average looking with much less than perfect skin, (one had obvious scars). However, they all have one quality in common and that it a very warm, humble and friendly SMILE.

Well... the crew looked like they really enjoy their job and they made the flight all the more pleasant for the passengers

So for all Silkair wannabes, I think its clear that looks are not the priority, a million dollar smile and a great personality brings you there

septemberrr, thanks for your reply! Hmm, so guess i needo wait for another 3 mths. I've tried Emirates but gt booted out after the 2nd interview. Very tough for emirates cos we dunno wat r ey looking for. Few girls in my grp did very well n a few r also frm ex SQ, other airline crew but wasn't selected too.
