2. What is the longest days of a trip? Are there any stayovers or how are the timings like??
3. What is the percentage of been able to get into Silkair?
4. How is the pay like… basic + allowance… I need a rough total amount for monthly salary.
5. What other benefits are there?

This should be a main question Im concerned, be it Silkair or SQ or any other airlines
Ok... I have skin on my palm are thick as it is hereditary and that's not much of a choice. So I wonder will it affect my path route to the airlines.
Hi carin, the interviewer told me that for silkair, there would be no stayovers.. you get to the destination, then you get on another plane back.

the timings are also very very irregular... though i'm not too sure whether you can actually choose or they schedule you.

from what i went through, during the first round where they get 10 girls to self-introduce, only 2 got through. but that's for my group. i'm not too sure about the others.

unfortunately, i plain forgotten to ask about the pay ^^"

benefits.. they did state alot. medical, dental, apparently even further studies?

i'm sure thick palms doesn't matter to them.. i think scars are the ones that you should note about. i do have a few scars and i'm planning to go for laser soon ^^"

came back from the swimming test and uniform fitting today!

swimming test wasn't that scary. all they asked was to don on a lifevest and swim the breadth of the pool using backstroke.

uniform fitting.. basically they just asked you to walk towards them and show them your nails. for some girls, they will ask you to smile. there was even 1 interviewee who had to take off her shoes. they asked me questions like, would you change your hairstyle to the way we want? etc..

and that concludes everything! now i'm just waiting for their call... -prays-

Singapore girl I am rooting for you - You seem to be one of the few who has actually read about the job and I see you constantly trying. I wish you success!

She is one of the few here who has actually done some research making good use of the Internet and finding things that I can't.
