The best way to be confident in the interview is to walk in with the attitude that you don't actually want the job, that there are better opportunities for you, and that if they really want you, they will have to convince you that you should work for them.

Your attitude comes across immediately as independent, not needy, as confident, not worried.

And I guarantee you, if you really do take the attitude that you don't care about the job you will be confident. It's only when you worry too much that confidence goes out the window.
