Is International Community School (ICS) an "IB World" school?

Any other comments on ICS? Thanks!

I teach at ICS so maybe I can answer your questions.

ICS does not have an international baccalaureate program.

We are an International School that has an American, Christian Evangelical curriculum.

Each morning school starts with devotions and prayer and every Friday the school conducts a chapel service.

There are fewer than 250 students attending at the moment. However, the student body is fairly diverse. Fifty percent of the student body is American, but we also have Australian, Korean, British, Japanese, Singaporean, and Swedish students.

Most of our students go to American colleges and universities upon graduation.

I should also note that ICS has one of the best basketball programs on the island.

Thank you for your reply.

Actually I'm considering which int'l school to put my little daughter in. I will be relocating from HK to SG in May 2006.

Can you give me some ideas? What are the strength and weakness of ICS? I mean, the campus, learning atmosphere, the teachers, the students...etc.

Thank you so much!

Hello friend,
I think you need to know that ICS is opening their pre-school program to 3-year olds beginning in the fall of 2006...begins mid August! Do bring your daughter...she'll love it! Call them and enroll now...before they fill the class. Teaching within the framework of Christian principles is best! :D
It is better to take refuge in the Lord than to trust in man. <><
