Looking for some friends and travel partners :)

Postby Renee » Thu, 16 Feb 2006 6:41 pm

Hi there, My name is Renee' and I just moved here. Before any homesick sets in, I'd really like to make some friends. I enjoy seeing different parts of this country - and also intend to travel on the weekends. So, if you are interested in getting a good balance of touristy stuff and others, and if you'd be interested in some adventures to Malaysia, Taiwan, Japan, or anywhere within reason - then let me know.

ALso, if there are any standing activities, I'd love to know those also.

Thanks and I hope to hear from one or many!
I'm here ready, willing, and able to meet new people! IM me!

The Death Railway Over The River Quay

It's an interesting small town with a BIG history of the second world war in South East Asia.

Don't know if I spell "Quay" correctly :P

Hi,
It's the bridge over the River Kwai. There was an award winning film made about it in the 60's. I went to Kanchanaburi at the end of 2004 :-

Keep me posted on any travels. I'm after travelling companions too :-
Bali 24-26th Feb.
Ho Chi Minh City 17th-19th March.

Regards
Dean
