You didn't ask the doctor when you got your results? That would be the best way and not some of the answers you would get here concerning someone's uncle's neighbour's second niece's friend heard that . . . chicken blood and hong san tiger penis garbage.

Ask a specialist what the best methods are.
One in the hand is worth two of something

Some people go for IVF, but it also depends on what your doctor recommends. Have you asked your doctor concerning IVF?

I know of some people who have successfully gone through the process as that was their 'last option'.

Of cos the gynae advise us.......he also prescribe some vitamins for my hubby. In fact, we already have a 4 yr old child and we are trying for a 2nd 1.....what i need now is beside those wonderful methods and suggestion by my gynae, are there any additional method e.g. tonic to increase or improve our possibility of pregnancy again

Just wondering, do you and your hubby happen to lead a very hectic and stressful lives, like most urbanites?

It was impossible to conceive when I was working a day job. Smooth sailing after I quit. Stress is probably the number 1 egg and sperm killer/disabler in my opinion (please consult your doc to confirm this).

Hectic, stress .... can affect your total wellness..
That is why if u can.. go back to the natural..
like taking a break to go travelling, or indulge yourself and your hubby in massage, spa, acupressure..etc

No, we are not under stress. Im suffering from anolvar menstruation whereby i will menstra every mth but no ovulation occur. As for my hubby, he is suffering from tetrazoospermia (thk spell wrongly) whereby the number is normal sperm is very low. Both of us are smokers, but have quit since we got the result. I was given clomid to assist in my ovulation and hubby is given mutlivitamin. We just need addition method to boost up the possibility bcos we do not want to go thru IUI

hi hi. we are kind of in the same boat except that i did not get my hubby to go for check up. i'll take it as it's my problem as my cycle has not been regular and i know i don't ovulate well.
i'm seeing a chinese sinseh in thong chai insitute (thong ji yi yuan) since jan. her prescriptions have so far helped me to regulate my mens.
the problem abt seeing them is that you have to go on a weekly basis...

There are some prescription drugs you can use to increase sperm count but you may need to find an open minded doctor.

The interesting thing is maybe your husband should be using the clomid (not recomended and not without consulting your doctor!). There are some other drugs that could help.

First is HCG (Human Chorionic Gonadotropin). This drug is clinically used to induce ovulation and treat ovarian disorders in woman as well stimulates the testes in hypogonadal.

The second is Mesterolone (Proviron). This is a oral androgen and is generally used to treat various types of sexual dysfunction and increase sperm count. This could be a better choice.

There are more but this should give you a start to talk with your doctor about. Using the HCG and Proviron together can create a synergey. But please consult with a doctor - besides these are prescription drugs in Singapore.

Putting drug treatment aside, changes in diet and exercise than could work wonders without having to resort to drugs.

Good to hear that you both have stopped smoking - for more than one reason but I'm sure this would help.... studies have shown it.

i hope this isn't too obvious but your husband should stay away from hot baths and alcohol. tight underwear are another no no.

try drinking ginseng soup twice a day or some oral ginseng drink from china.

ask your husband not to go for hot spring drip as the 40 degree c water is enough to kill all his sperm and it took 3 weeks for new and lively sperm to regenerate back.

go for organic food which usually had no chemical content which might kill your husband sperm.

aviod tight pants and underwear which generate heat and kill sperm

try eat tiger penis soup or deer anterlo soup
