Trees & Hearts??

Post by Matney » Tue, 14 Feb 2006 6:52 pm

Can anyone explain the reasoning behind the large red hearts found on the trees all along East Coast Road? Each one is advertising some sort of product and has "Love From moove Media" one the backside. My teenager daughter cut down two, one for me and one for her dad. Is she in trouble? I'm not concerned.

Not just the East Coast, all over Tanglin, Bukit Timah, etc... I think they are from the same people that gave us the large cut-out, life size cows. Having worked in advertising as a young thing I must say, a failed attempt. No one knows what they were all about. Where is the reveal?

Moove Media are responsible for selling all the advertising space on SBS buses and Confort cabs

Might have something to do with this Valentine Event they have organised?

Too bad it wasn't advertised earlier, Instead of the morning of the event.

This is all fine and dandy, but unfortunately a day later and the hearts are still on most of the trees. So how long must we look at these things, before the group that put them up, takes them down? Valentine's Day is over, bah humbug!!!
