Cost of living in singapore

Hi everyone,

Got a couple of questions on the cost of living in singapore, i may have an offer to come work in sg for my current employer for 3-4yrs. The rate of pay is around $75k-95k year.. will this be enough to:

1. Rent some type of condo/hdb (close to city or near an MRT that can take me to the city), how much is monthly rent or is it weekly etc?

2. Take the MRT/Bus to work everyday (ie, how much are buses and the MRT in general in peak times?)

Is it better to live away from the city ie, 20-40mins from city centre? are there buses and MRT this far out?
