Plenty of places for cheap sushi in Singapore, they've sprouted all over. Edo is just one of them with the chugging conveyor belt concept. I can't say they are top quality sushi, but it's cheap...

Sushi isn't chinese food... but while Bangkok has the world's cheapest Japanese food, Singapore isn't too far behind. In particular, the conveyor belt sushi places can be very cheap (S$1 and up per plate, some also have all-you-can-eat deals), although naturally the cheapest ones are rarely the best.

Raffles The Plaza(formerly Westin Stamford)serves sushi as part of their high tea spreads at their Equinox restaurant(used to be Compass Rose). There's cakes,scones,ice-creams,local cuisines, sushis etc for $40 per person. All you can eat from 3 -5 pm.
