Will be relocating to Singapore (from USA) with wive and two kids. 3yr girl and 6yr son. Been to Singapore many times and I am aware of the many school options and living options. Only the son will be in school, 1st grade for 06'/07' school year. Plan to only be in Singapore one year. (2 years at the most). I am looking for help on what school and where to live. I will have a car and traveling to Malaysia daily so north side near SAS sounds logical. I believe SAS is the closes school to Malaysia border. If there was a school close to Tuas crossing, that would be even better since I will be working on west side of Malaysia in PTP.
What other school option on north side?
If SAS is the one, what living options do I have besides Woodgrove condo and Rosewood Condo with a budget of ~$3,500SGD per month for rent?
Thanks for any additional information to help me out.

Re: Schools in Singapore
SAS is the right thing to do considering your timing (in and out in a year) and location. You could live in Buket Batok, Dairy farm, Upper Bukit Timah, skads of choices. Stick with SAS for sure.andbaynard wrote:Will be relocating to Singapore (from USA) with wive and two kids. 3yr girl and 6yr son. Thanks for reply..........
Looks like SAS is the school due to close location to my daily commute to Malaysia. Now I just have to find a 3bedroom for around $3,000 - $4,000 with a pool, walking distance to school and MRT.
