Working Permit

Post by Tuenyi » Thu, 26 Jan 2006 5:55 pm

I'll be relocating to Singapore (from HK) together with my family. I have a filipino maid and I want to bring her to Singapore too. What should I do to apply for a work permit for my maid?

I learned from others that I need to pay Singapore Government S$5000 for security deposit, am I right?

Yes, that's right. But you can buy insurance for it which include personal accident, hospitalisation, etc.

Maybe it's best speak to Singapore Consulate in HK to find out more.
