Urgent Questions about Foreign Domestic Helper

Post by Tuenyi » Thu, 26 Jan 2006 3:01 pm

Our family will be relocating to Singapore (from Hong Kong). I have a filipino maid now and I want to bring her to Singapore together.

1. What procedures/documents are required for applying a work permit for my maid? How long does it take?

2. What documentation I need to provide to MOM?

3. How much I need to pay for such application?

Thanks!

I think agents could do all that for you. Otherwise (to save the fee) you could look at the MOM website and do it yourself, I'm sure. Government offices are pretty efficient here, so you could always email them if you can't find what you're after.
