I'm bored and this forum hasn't been up to its usual entertaining level so I'm borrowing an idea I saw on another forum. I'll start with a story and anyone who wishes to particpate just continues it.
I woke up with a start to the incessant ringing of the telephone. I rubbed my heavy sleep laden eyes trying to acclimatise myself to my surroundings. Where the hell was I?

somehow, my eyes just couldn't open.. then came the familiar voice from the answering machine. "Answer Cindy! I know you are in! Don't you dare play with me!".

... there lay Cindy, looking a lot fatter and uglier than i remembered from the night before. perhaps it was dark when we met, or it could have been the alcohol. which would explain the pounding in my head. i slowly pulled my clothes towards me and started to dress. hopefully i would be out of there before Cindy woke. then suddenly she sat bolt upright

This is a complete and utter nightmare I thought, Why me? What is my husband going to say if he ever found out?

It all came back to me in a flash. What had started out as a fun girls' night out had rapidly deteriorated in an all out slanging match against men in general. Cindy was a newcomer to the group, a friend of a friend and had had like the rest of us, egged on by too much alcohol, more than contributed to her share of the topic of the day by pouring her troubles over men and the general state of her life to us....
