Doctor Recommendation Needed

I am new to Singapore. I have been living in Shanghai where there are specific doctors and hospitals provided for western expatriates. I dont know if it is the same in Singapore.

How does the health system work? Can anyone personally recommend a doctor?

I have BUPA medical insurance. Is this accepted in most health clinics?

Not that I am aware of but other expats may have a recommendation or referral for a doctor that they particularly care for.

Almost all the docs speak English (or Singlish ) so they can readily service English-speaking expats.
