Condo

Post by Tuenyi » Mon, 23 Jan 2006 9:51 pm

My budget is SIN$1300 or below. Do you know if I can rent a condo? If yes, which area? Or any recommendations?

Many thanks!

there are some condos in the upper bukit timah area around your budget. Otherwise, some east end ones as well. Just don't expect them to be close to town.

I am looking for an apartment around that price range too for one person. Short term (2-4months). Near an subway station not too from downtown. How should I go about looking for these?

How many bedrooms? I noticed in another thread that you are bringing a maid. Most places that we have seen don't have a maid's room in the two-bed places, only in the three-bedroom apartments.

Anyway, we live in Upper Bukit Timah and you will be able to get something in a condo for your budget, but as someone said, it won't be close to town. The bus system is pretty good though (no MRT station nearby). Otherwise, Bukit Batok is very reasonably priced too.
