Singapore or Dubai?

Hi everyone

I have been reading this forum diligently for several months and I have noticed that the UAE recruit in Singapore often. For a long time my family and I were trying to determine where to move, Dubai or Singapore. My question is this; What do you think? Has anyone lived in Dubai and how are things there, especially in regards to families. Any input would be appreciated.

I have read the threads. However, the majority of the messages are about airline crews and/or from people that have only visited or lived there a long time ago. I am more interested, if possible, in experiences of people that have lived there recently. Thanks though
