Air-Stewards

Post by Shreked » Wed, 18 Jan 2006 2:14 pm

Just got a few questions regarding air-stewards...

Being an air-steward is my dream job but i must gone thru NS after graduating from ITE. I know that ITE Cert doesn't meet the minimum requirement of a cabin crew. I wanna ask if..
Is there any chances of an ITE male graduate being an air-steward?
What's the age range for being an air-steward?
Do tiger Airways recruit air-steward?

Thanks~!

You have answered your own question. Well done.

I am an ITE graduate and likewise, I didn't stand a chance during the last recruitment when I sent in my application just to try my luck. Therefore, this may sound disappointing but you are not qualified to apply for SIA. On the other hand, Jetstar Asia do recruit male FAs, probably the next local airline that takes in male FAs after SIA. You may also try Emirates, Qatar Airways, Gulf Air, British Airways and Cathay Pacific. They do recruit people from Singapore.

They usually look at your resume and your personality(but with minimum O Levels). But then they don't come here often, so you need to be patient.

You can't ask me coz I don't belong to any airline company and its recruitment team. I'm only a girl who wants to be an FA just like you. What you can do is research. Yahoo! and Googles are greats starts.

Nice answer, SG, to a very silly question. Possibly they need personality, brains and competence more than a toned meathead.

This isn't a manhunt or SOF selection eh? :???: Frankly, I think the position is out of your reach for the questions you have asked? :P

And you are asking me to be sensible?

Possibly you should put those dumbells/barbells down and read a newspaper.
