SPR - Question.

Post by Everest » Tue, 17 Jan 2006 1:21 pm

I'm Irish and coming to work in Singapore. My wife is mainland Chinese and our young daughter also has an EU passport. My wife's passport is from mainland China through she has permanent rights of abode in the EU.

I've heard that western nationals can get SPR fairly quickly and easily. Is this true? Would it be more difficult for my wife or would they take us as 'a package'?!! :P

Many thanks

Haven't seen Grafton St in years! Live in Mainland China and have done for four years. Before that Korea, japan, blah, blah.

Thanks for your reply.

Am I correct in assuming that it's (forgive me) 'easier' for EU citizens to get SPR than say, someone from, say, The Phillipines? Sorry for the way that sounds. :-|
