Accidentally ate pig stomach today

Uggghhhhh I was at the hawker with b/f who pointed out a few dumplings and fried tid bits to have for lunch, most of it was pretty safe just spring rolls etc. He ate down his Maw dumpling and said 'you should eat your dumpling' I bit in and started to chew, looked down and noticed a suspicious piece of tripe staring back at me ughhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh I still had my mouth full of it and couldn't swallow had to spit...
This is the 2nd time I have been presented with a lovely plate of tripe I really don't know what the shop owners think when I walk away without touching it but I can't bring myself to eat. I also have trouble with the little dried fish things used in all sorts of dishes.
Has anyone else been in the situation of having to offend the food stall cooks when you just can't stomach the food?

So sorry, know that all parts of an animal are nutritious, but draw the line, draw the line............urrrrrghhhh.

Tripe, chitterlins,' brains, kidneys..... I tend to give all of these a wide berth. About the only thing I'll tolerate from the inside of an animal is liver.

Now, fish maw is what I can live without. It has that texture and consistency that your body instinctively tells you you better spit it out or be prepared to throw up.
Haven't tried frog porridge... but who knows...

Why is the frog holding onto his genitals?
Do they serve frog balls, and is that like fish balls?

Must admitted recently went for japanese buffet and Mrs S asked if I wanted to try Pregnant Fish
Nearly heaved up just at the thought of it!
