Bit quiet, isn't it?

Post by Bubbles » Thu, 12 Jan 2006 7:17 pm

Bit quiet don't you think? What's wrong with you all? Are you on holidays?

Come on, speak up, speak up, you know I can't stand this peace and quiet!!

Had a lovely walk to the station this morning, frosty cold early mornings are my favourites!

Yes busy at work, well pretending to!

A good tip is to design all your databases so they have the same colours as the forum db, tends to blend in and people are none the wiser  :D

Funny you should say that Bubbles, I used a taxi yesterday from Central London and the driver happened to mention that January is always the quietest month. Seems a good many of us are still reeling from Christmas and getting a scare when we get the credit card bill! Looks like this could become an unpleasant thread.

Hmmm... those in Singapore are pretty quiet on this thread. I wonder why? maybe its ECDC / WNDC or too much drinking?

Shouldn't keep anyone away from forum though?!? Let's start talking about myself... having an irritating cough that just won't go away... :x

Then again... its only my paws typing... excuse. Typical, isn't it?

I don't know about you guys, but the forum here is still woefully slow and I have had heaps of problems just trying to post a message...in fact have given up on several occasions, there is only so much time you can sit in front of a computer that is hanging somewhere in cyberspace and won't let you do what you want to do!!!

On top of the wait, sometimes it delightfully deletes your message as well...perhaps this is the reason there isn't much action. :???:

PS this is attempt No. 3...if this doesn't work there won't be a post...ho hum :(

Micknlea, you aren't alone, its still lagging for me as well. That's one of the reasons I've stayed away, requires too much patience to post, a virtue I don't possess.
It's not getting any smarter out there. You have to come to terms with stupidity, and make it work for you.

I thought it was just me...this site is driving me crazy! It's so slow then it loses my messages.

Bubbs, It's been raining for days and days here. That might explain it. It's dark (except when there is lightning). Everyone seems in a funk.

It seems that those of you far away are having a better time than us here in Sing. Have tried quite a few posts and given up...my patience is being sorely tested, and I am just really bored tonight with no one to talk to at home...

However I am at the end of my patience now and this one is only getting one chance! :P

Strange how Bubbs and I aren't having any problem from UK :?

Don't know whether the board administrators can comment on this
