OK, I need to go out at night....

Post by Ali » Sun, 08 Jan 2006 9:39 am

HI, I'm visiting Singapore from NYC. Been here a few days and so far I love it! My problem is that I just don't know where to go at night. I'm 36 and travelling by myself (here for a seminar that lasts all day). I just want someplace to eat and have a drink. I'm staying on the East Coast at the Roxy, but I will take a taxi wherever (I can't get over how cheap taxis are here!).

Any suggestions?

Still here Wednesday night?

There is a group that meets up on Wednesday night so if you're still here then you could join in (they are a friendly bunch). The location is usually posted on the "Events, Gatherings, Making Friends" forum on Sunday/Monday.

You should try Clarke Quay. There are lots of bars/restaurants etc.

Will only be a 5 minute taxi ride from where you are staying.
