how to change from LPR to PR?
I am not sure I understand the question. The way LPR works is that you (usually) apply for it from outside SG. If successful, you will get a Approval-in-principle (AIP). The AIP then needs to be converted to a full PR status through 1 of 3 ways (1. You get an employment in SG, 2. Your spouse gets an employment in SG 3. You relocate with your family to SG.) When you prove one of these, you will be given full PR status.
If you have already applied for LPR, you have already paid a hefty non-refundable daylight robbery fee to SMC. Why not wait it out ? You should hear a reply in about 4-6 weeks.
