See the doctor. I had mine for 6-9 months. It started with a bad flu and the throat irritation and dry cough persisted for more half a year.
Doc initially suggested post-nasal drip and I took antihistamine tabs and sprays which had minimal help. Cough mixtures were not helpful in the long run. He also suggested that I go for chest x ray to rule out the cause of cough was not from TB.
Anyway, just keep your immune system up by eating a balanced healthy diet, taking your vitamins and exercising. I'm almost fully recovered now, thankfully.

How abt drinking more water?? Perharps can help..khwlg wrote:it's often so bad, he even felt irritating talking... and difficulty speaking loud. He has cut down on heaty food and sugary drinks, but doesn't seem to improve
If he has taken measures and yet not improving..
Why not ask him to go for check-up? Coz maybe it is other organs that is causing the problems.. U never know...
Just like having a headache does not necessarily meant ur head or brain got problem.. It could be triggered by some other problems like kidney, heart, spleen ..etc (for eg)
