Just wondering whats the general opinion about the Liverpool and Newcastle game since this is the first match when Owen returns to Anfield, but on the opposing side. Sentiments are riding high...

Dream on BG! Liverpool will continue their unbeaten run in the Premiership. I predict 3-0 to Liverpool Image

whatever the result the teams have a history of having exciting games - will be one to watch even if you don't support either team

True - so I'm going for Newcastle and hoping for Shearer to net two, Own one and the Spanish Sissy's to get a big, fat 0!

(You simply have to support the underdog and Shearer is sich a battler - good on him)

No doubt a good combination, but Shearer has the raw strength and Owen the guile to get past them - Hypia is good in the air but too vulnerable on the ground.

(Wow, before I came to Singapore I couldn't give a toss about the EPL and now I'm talking like I have a clue)

(Can we discuss rugby next? Far more entertaining :) )

That's your brush with fame?
My modern day one was standing next to Rchard Branson at the pissoir of a Sydney restaurant the day before he announced his entry (so to speak) into Australian aviation.

I met Richard once in Hong Kong - he had just launched Virgin going non stop HK to London. He hired out the whole of China Jump.

Not my best though - I met Pele when I was 6 & didn't know who he was.

I met the Prodigy in Newcastle when they were on their Jilted tour.

Met most of the Newcastle squad in 96 - I worked in a bar

I think thats it

My feel is Graeme Souness is Liverpool, Owen is Liverpool. Look at Wigan who is also very pro Liverpool and the results they've got during the last match, its human nature...

2-1 Liverpool, and Owen on the scoresheet.
What's worse, ignorance or apathy? I don't know and I don't care
