I think that's it actually. There used to be pasta fresca in shaw towers, but they closed down and are now only at boat quay and various other places that are far out.

Can also recommend 'Prego' at Raffles The Plaza, 2 Stamford Road. It's been a while since I was there but still has a reputation for good authentic and affordable Italian dishes.
Imagine, if you will, a world without hypothetical situations.

Ok it's not a restaurant but it's my favourite Italian place near the city. Ricotti. It's on the river. I can never remember which Quay is which but it's on the Harry's side, walk towards the bridges and it's between the 2 bridges. The best Chicken Gorganzola Salad and Canaloni (?)

Try Pasta Brava along Craig Rd close to Tanjong Pagar MRT

Or you can go Pete's place, in The Hyatt's. They have lots of foc bread.

Expensive. Compared to Spaggedies that is. However, you are paying for quality Italian food.

About $S30 to $S60 per person but you gotta pay for quality.
Heres the link if you want to check them out..

For cheap italian, go Pasta Mania in Scotts Foodcourt...though, its not the same.
Or you could try Modestos...next Orchard Parade Hotel...very nice panna cotta!

Well, there is one that I like and we go to, occassionally... Da Paolo's
www.dapaolo.com.sg
Very nice, various locations and wonderful ambience!
Then, there is Al Dente's in Boat Quay.

Pete's place sucks. It is a leftover from the late 80s and NOT worth the money. DaPaolo is good but overpriced / Spagetties is a chain - but good quality for the money. However, my new favorite in Singapore is La Braceria on Greenleaf - EXCELLENT. Also - yes - there is a reasonable place along boat quay...

Here is one more suggestion just to confuse you.

...and by the way, Secret Garden looks nice.
