A number of celebs, including Neil Gaiman (author of Sandman), Stefanie Sun, local band Electrico, Cyndi Wang, Desiree Siahaan an acapella group Budak Pantai, have contributed autographed items to the Cat Welfare Society for auction. They'll make great Christmas gifts, and besides, the money raised will go towards a good cause. Do check out the items at: http://www.catwelfare.org/auctions.

Can one offer a lower price from their property auction asking price? As their opening price is considerably higher than the open market.

You could also make a pre auction offer - even if below reserve and ask it be presented to the seller prior to auction. Not likely to succeed unless...
