They are supposed to wear respirator type masks. The reputable companies do use masks but not necessarily goggles (not required by NEA). The fly-by-night 1 or 2 truck companies cut costs where they can. They also have a bad habit of diluting the fogging mixture in ratios that are below the recommended dosages. You wouldn't know this because what you are smelling is the diesel or kerosine that is the carrier for the chemical not the actual chemical itself (maybe just a tiny bit).
Those guys have to have their blood tested also at regular intervals and sent to NEA as well.
