Soulmate. n.

a. A person perceived to be the 'other half' of your 'soul' and when met will complete you!!

b. A phrase coined by those who are in the throes of romantic love to make the rest of the world feel as if they're missing out.

c. A recent invention by the perpetrators of slush fiction to egg on the sales of their books.

d. A sweet and gentle substitute word for someone you find fanciable to a great degree.

e. A word which becomes laughable when you realise that there can be a million soulmates out there for you, but of course, you've not got the time to look for them.
