Nah, I wouldn't stick my neck out for that.

(Actually I was schlepped to see the Karen tribes a few years ago - absolute shame that they are paraded around like animals in a zoo - normally you would never see them as they live far away from urban centres)

that 'zoo' practice concerns most of the Thai actually, not just the Karen hill tribe...

Heard that there was a group here on the forum going on 'night safari' here somewhere in Singapore....

Just a thought:

(1) Western guys might just be more agressive when it comes to meeting strangers which may be why more assian guys arn't dating western girls here. I know a lot of asian guys who date caucasian girls in America.

(2) As far as the asian girl/caucasian guy thing, a lot of this may have to do with novelty. Caucasian guys are novel here. The fact of the matter is, that back in America a LOT of asian girls don't want to have anything to do with caucasian guys -- so there goes that theory.

(3) Again with the novelty, asian girls are novel in the west which may make the desireable to western guys, who then come here and end up dating them.
