my i-pod mini battery doesn't last long. what about yours?

Post by emiko08 » Sat, 10 Dec 2005 1:10 am

I purchased my first set in January 2005 of i-pod mini. Through the months till October, I realised the battery is getting weaker and weaker. In the specifications, it is stated there is 13hours of battery life. Till the point where I had to charge for 3 days to get 5 minutes of music.

Apple replaced a new set of i-pod mini for me. and right now, it is happening all over again!

does anybody experience the same? i heard after the warranty is over, replacing the battery is useless and the cost is as good as getting a new set. if i send it for warranty now (2nd round of warranty), will they still fix it for me?

my friend uses Creative mp3 and her battery last for 5 days and she plays it for about 10 hours a day! is Creative or Apple a better buy in the end? :-|

I think your set is obviously majfunctioned. Bring it back to Apple and ask for a change. Threaten to report to CASE that they replaced you with a spoilt player. Than tell Apple you feel very insecure over the quality of the product, demand to meet the manager, complain, get histerical, and than ask for a new set and an extention of warranty...
I'm so stupid that I surprise myself sometimes...

No, just do the smart thing and get an iRiver. Apple's customer service is awful.

Popular doesn't mean reputable. :)

Damn right, Bremen!

Popular can be made by either good reputation or ill-repute :D

Anyone tried the Nachus EMP-Z Coin-Sized MP3 Player?

Been waiting for a coin-sized piece all this while, and finally!

Well, "coin-sized" is relative... that would have to bea pretty big coin. Reviews of that Nachus say the sound quality is fairly "nyaaaah". You may be better off with an iaudio or iRiver N10.

Here are the iaudio products:
