Nothing important, just a natter......

Post by Bubbles » Wed, 07 Dec 2005 6:12 pm

This one's not important, just thought I'd say Hi and tell you the weather here is awful.....freezing cold, fog so thick all car lights on and house lights, seems like dusk....thick frost on the car this am, and even with de-icer it still re-froze.

What's it like there.......? Arrrgh, don't tell me, got your teeshirts on have you, bare legs and going out to the hawker for dinner.....sod, sod, sod.

Never mind, it's Corrie tonight, sausage and onion gravy for dinner, and curtains drawn at 5 with Christmas tree and dubious old fairy stuck on the top twinkling in the corner.....

See you
Bubbs.
Rage, rage against the dying of the light.

Bless you Bubbles. Yours is the only voice of originality lately. I feel the forum has gotten very stale in recent weeks -- if it wasn't for the mental wrestling match on 'Universal Truths' I'm afraid we all would have tuned out. OK, not exactly true, but K1w1, CD, Sapph, Saint, the Baron, Seraphim -- they have all been nudging this boulder up the mountain.

I guess cyber relationships are like any other, they go through dry spells.

Me, I am missing Vaucluse and Eric very much!

Well, soon enough I'll be off to snowy climes as well. I simply can not wait.

There is nothing in this world as tender and fleeting as the sun set over snowy pastures. The last dying gasp of crimsom before darkness falls.

I can't wait to go home.

Ooh, Bubbles you sound so, so far away, almost like the other side of the world...hee hee :) I bet your Christmas tree looks lovely. You know, all tree fairies should be a little squint, its so you can't tell when they have been sneaking into the Christmas sherry while you are asleep!

Yep, its warm here, just sitting here with the evening breeze drifting in through the open window, enjoying how nice it is not to have to have to put a jacket on in the evening. Just realised, the only time I have had real shoes and not sandals on all year is when we went to Australia in August, wow. My feet love it here!

You have made me think of something else, I sent all our Christmas cards off today, it's funny to think of all the places around the world that they are going, some of them are heading not too far away from you, I hope they make it through the snow. Hmm, who do you think has it worse? The postie delivering through snow and sleet or the one sweating it out in the heat and the rain?

Cheers Bubbs, you've cheered me up too!

PS Welcome to Singapore Saint...no doubt you have defrosted by now!
