I intend to take a short break in Melbourne for the week commencing 24th to 31st October 2003. Anyone know of an economical single air ticket that I can purchase? I would also like to know what to do and to avoid at either custom check-points. Any pointers/suggestions contributed, would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you

The single most importatn 2 things about customs clearance at australian airports is quarantine declarations, aust has the most stringent quarantine declarations in the world. No fruit veg or meat products of any kind are allowed and false declarations attract severe penalties, certainly not worth the fruit u r carrying. 2ndly u r allowed to bring in up to AUD9,999without declaration. Anything more u need to declare.

That would be drastic and painful, but could be the only way to a quicker recovery. Wuhan's was really drastic but at least it worked.
