Need help to solve riddles in a treasure hunt which allows participants to seek whatever help available. The riddle will direct participants to a place/chechpoint in Singapore (past answers were CHIJMES, Ngee Ann's Library, Bali Villa, Olive Restaurant at Labrador Park, Hangout@ Mt Emily, The Arts House and Poison Ivy at Bollywood Veggie). At this place there will be another clue poster with a new riddle which will lead to the next place, and so on until the final destination.
Previous riddle like:
Sitting along the quiet path,
This is hardly Nature's wrath.
If you strains you sights hard enough,
You might glimpse a fruit that's just so tough.
It points to a spot along the collapsed Nicoll Highway where you can see the Esplanade aka The Durian.
The current riddle is
In brave colors, off they go,
To other lands, in search of greater control.
This loner now sits silently,
Resonating with pride, for those in the know.
The place is not:
AirForce Museum in PayaLebar
Raffles Statue,
Indian National Army monument,
Japanese Cemetry Park, AMK
as we have covered them.
My own intepretations of the riddle is
"in brave colors, off they go, ......" - something with flags/someone in uniform went off to foreign lands in search of greater control(power/biz empire/religion?).
"This loner now sit silently, ....." - A statue/landmark/plane/ship sits on a place and it brings pride to a small group/minority of people who know its story.
Any other inpepretation of this riddle?
Still unable to locate the place after six days of search.
Any help or leads will be much appreciated.
