are you drinking more tiger beer as a result of that ad?
Nay. Anchor still tastes better and it is cheaper. Not to mention other "super" deals for some imported beers nowadays.
And here I though I was the only person still in Singapore that "prefers" Anchor beer. It's the working man's beer. It's the one that will quench your thirst while mowing the lawn. It's the beer for those of us who drink what we like. (that is when we can find it - getting so it's hard to even find it at a hawker stall now). Personally cannot stand Tiger. Won't stop me from watching the advert though.

Bet you also like stuff like Becks, Miller Draft and anything with the word Lite in it. AKA watered down piss.

Actually, never drank a beer in my life until I got to Singapore. I was always a Glenlivit malt man myself. I forced myself to learn to like the taste of beer for economic reasons. (especially back in those days when my wife's brother was still in the Sing Navy. S$20 a slab! First time I ever drank a US beer was when my wife's other brother flew in from HK and bought a 6-pack of Bud. Thought he was doing me a favour. Took one sip and poured the rest out. Down to the 7-11 and a crate of anchor! Do like a Tooheys now and then if I can find it. Bud, Miller, Becks & Foster's all suck! Corona & Phillipines San Miguel okay!

CD,

Now days I'm lucky to have 6 beers in 6 months. I've been a gout suffer for many years but don't take meds. Control my diet and as such, rarely drink at all now. That's one reason I've never made it to WNDC or any of the others. Do like to drink, drink don't like me.....(or should I say I like walking better).

Never drank much european beer probably because, as I said, I forced my self to acquire a taste for beer. (I always thought "How do we get it back into the horse?"

Well I can understand that, but in that case I would rather go for the good stuff when I have my monthly beer...

Really you should try if you get the opportunity. They are different.

The only time my husband and I drink anything will be if we can find a good German brew. Here in Singapore, we'll only go to Paulaner Brauhaus to drink beer. Litre glasses of beer rock big time :)

Reckon she's perfect for the role. Goes down a treat and does the job. Just like an ice cold Tiger.

But of course there's always something better.

Have not seen the ad, so can't comment on it but I can comment on Jessica.
She's really cute and can totally understand why men think she's easy on the eye.
