Postby Paw » Tue, 14 Oct 2003 12:54 am

HI all !!!! :!:
I am moving from London to Singapore at the beginning of the next year.
I hold a Polish passport and citizenship.Does anyone know what is
the best way to get a work permit over there and how long
it may take? Which organisation or government unit should I
contact with? Unfortunately there is not a Polish Embassy in Singapore....
Thank you for the all suggestions and help!!!
Later P xxx :D

If you are offered a job in Singapore, your company will usually apply the work permit or employment pass for you. It will take about 2 to 3 weeks.

You can goto Ministry of Manpower website http://www.mom.gov.sg for more information.

Address for Poland embassy - 435 Orchard Rd #10-01/02 Wisma Atria Singapore 238877 Tel : +65 6734 0466 Fax : +65 67346129

cheers,

Found also the e-address:
E-mail: polish_embassy@pacyfic.net.sg

I may have to find a new job when I move.
Is it better to apply when I am already over there
or before?
I do realise that getting a work permit is
the easiest when your company applies for you but it may
be not possible. I am moving to Sg couse of personal reasons.

Do you know any good local HR websides I can use?
I'd better start sending my CV

Thx p
